I tried to return to work the next week but couldnt cope. The headaches just got worse (very stressful job). I suffered from depression and tinnitus prior to this and I feel especially with the tinnitus its so much worse. I am still off work as my doctor is not happy for me to return to work. I am a 55 year old woman.
Yesterday three works on, I woke up with dizzyness and nausea and today the dizzyness is still there. Is this all part of this concussion.? Can you get dizzy so much later on?
I really hope someone can clarify all this for me.
Looking forward to your replies. Many thanks in advance.
Hello Hev53,

Welcome to the group! People here are very kind and supportive to one another.

Personally, my balance isn't the greatest but I don't have constant dizziness. Perhaps the tinnitus is complicating your sense of balance. Certainly worth mentioning to the doctor . Health issues often become intertwined and complicated to treat. Add depression to the list and life becomes even more difficult ! I understand.

Have you had CT scan and/or MRI? Is your doctor well-versed in head injuries (lots of interest and experience in that area)? If not, I'd recommend that you begin with an MRI - more expensive, but it has a much better resolution. I hope that you find the answers and help needed.

Best wishes and hugs to you !
