she has stage 4 ovarian cancer. it has metastasized to intestines in spite of hysterectomy and chemo. she is 84. chemo has stopped working and intestines are blocked. fluid builds up in abdomen and is collapsing a lung.

she has a pic line and receives saline & glucose there. also a g-tube for drainage. we got a hospital bed 2day and oxygen. she has morphine & lorazepam available. i am now sleeping on the couch so i can be there in a hurry. dad is very sad and has been crying, they have been 2gether 44 yrs.

at 1st i was having panic attacks but now i am just sad.

2morrow her neice coming from holland, so i get to have an outing to lax. the height of my social life, besides visiting nurses.
