It could have been a niacin flush if it did not last that long. That flush will cover certain parts of the body only, face, neck, elbows, hands, etc. I would check the supplements to see what dose of niacin (nicotinic acid form of niacin) caused that. Did her nose run a little bit too? When I do the flush my nose will run at some point, not in the beginning of the flush but after the flush has started.

It can take only 50 mg. of nicotinic acid to cause a flush in a histadelic (high histamine level person). Histadelics should avoid folic acid and nicotinic acid until they have they have their histamine levels balanced.
