Ah, those were the days! to simply shout "ROAD TRIP!" and grab a hand full of clean undies, socks, and snacks, and hit the road. I would think nothing of doing a 12 hour drive to go visit old friends half way across the US. I could drive 10 hours straight, and not think it a bit tiring. Add MS into the mix...I dont want to walk to check the mailbox, let alone drive an hour to get to the MS clinic. A car trip spends me! it takes me days to recover. I would love to crawl on a train and see the USA, but the exhaustion makes me think that I would snore my way through some of the prettiest towns. That would break my heart.
