Finally a moment of silence, I might get some work done today!
But mommy, mommy it's so nice out can we please go play?
Out in the yard with mud pie picnics and pretend tea,
Getting lost together in the cloud watching world of make believe.
Lists of chores, errands to run, a million things to do
Look mommy I colored a picture just for you
Work will have to wait until the little one is tucked in bed
Because life's interruptions are here instead.
Tomorrow she will be grown, and you'll wonder how
Life's interruptions you should always allow.
