Default Brain Cooling Reduces Seizures

Hi Folks,
I've beeen working on a study with a Professor and a 2nd yr. medical student who have been having me keep a log of how many times a day I yawn, how I feel before and after I yawn along with keeping track of my temperature a few times a day. They have found that people with MS, Epilepsy, Headaches, stress & anxiety, schizophrenia, and sleep disorders all have abnormal temperatures of the brain known as "Thermoregulation" What's very interesting is how they have found that yawning helps cool the brain tempertature down. I know over in the United Kingdom they have come out with a micro chip that cools the brain down when it gets to warm and it stops sz. Since the study has begun I've been putting a cool washcloth on my face or the back of my neck when I feel I'm going to have a sz. and to my surprise it has stopped the sz. because the brain doesn't get that warm and it's the heat that can sometimes fire up the neurons in the brain and trigger sz. So the next time you feel you might have a sz. get a cool wash cloth and put it on your face or the back of your neck. Also keep track of how many times you yawn before, during or after any sz. by doing this you may find cooling the brain helps reduce if not stop your sz. Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You!
