Paula,
When I started not eating before or after my first dose of medication, my first and second dose were suddenly over the top, so I had to reduce these doses. It's easier to stay on with this diet. And if you have struggled to loose weight this is the same struggle. Only immediately after dinner you may indulge. This is the time to take your comforting ice cream. For the rest of the day I try to avoid sweets, fats and proteins. But the reward is instantly in my case. There were days that I realized that I had almost been “on” for the whole day. On the other hand the equilibrium is volatile. If I feel some glands in my neck I know that I have to be very cautious.
I don't know what medication you take or what the status of your Parkinson's is. I don't know what the effect for you will be. I don't know, but I sure would like to know. I think together we can make the picture complete.
