Welcome, Jennifer!

I know you'll love being here. We are from all walks of life, and we all understand what it's like to go through the day-to-day with the misunderstood dx of hydro (or love people who do). I am closer to 40 than I'd like to admit (less than 2 months to go ), and like you, I was dx'ed in infancy. After a cluster of shunt surgeries prior to kindergarten, along with some seizures (which I still have, on occasion), I have had only one--26 years ago last month! I am college-educated, married (mostly happily) for 16 years, and I have two awesome kids. My son's autism is actually the most trying challenge I deal with.
