I'm curious because of all the reading I've done about disease/inflammation and diet.

It seems, at least in the US, we have a very meat based diet and over the millenia, humans ate a larger proportion of roots and vegetables than meat. The last time I tried changing my diet I basically starved myself because I didn't pursue alternatives to meat, I just ate way less. I think I may try a primarily vegetarian diet with the addition of fish and maybe chicken.

I'm frustrated with the constant offering of medication from the doctor and lack of relief and thought I might be better served focusing on diet and exercise.
