Folks,

I have seen all over WedMD & various sites that a medication called "Tapentadol" has just been approved to treat pain. I saw a little blurb about it but it said nothing of value.

My question is, what is this medication is Tapentadol comparable to? Is it like Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, morphine or Fentanyl? Where does this drug rank in the league of medications out there?

I guess it's good to know if I'm taking a Tylenol or MS Contin ...
