I do believe people can pick the wrong Dr. out of desperation to get better. We are in so much pain and stay that way for so long we look for that one Dr.that can give us some relief.

Unfortunetly there are not enough ways to get the history of a Dr. to know what his success rate is. There are websites that do mention Drs and put them on a S**T list but they don't tell why. They want money to find out why and at times you pay the money and still don't get the why.

We are blinded by the pain we are in. Some people get lucky and do find a good Dr. that does as much for them as they can some don't. There wouldn't be lawsuits against Drs. out there if that weren't the case.

I was going to let one Dr. cut on me because I was so desperate to get out of pain I didn't care if I died on the operating table as someone else said. I had a Dr. step in and make the decision for me not to have surgery by that Dr. but by another one. I love where I am at with my right side TOS. I do hurt when I look at clothes on clothes racks or lift my arm to get into a cabinet but otherwise I don't have the tingling and the numbness except from what I deal with triggerfinger syndrome. My falls caused my problems. I feel several times on my right side even after i had my surgery done. My Dr. did some triggerpoint shots to help deal with that pain.

We donot know what we are walking into when we go into a Drs. office we just hope and pray that they know what they are doing.

I can understand why some people feel like they have been shafted by Drs. it is very possible to get a quack out there. I've seen my share. Thank God I have learned enough to check these Drs. out. I ask questions to people who have been to them and after I get so many he's a quack, I know not to go to him.

Ask questions in your area. You have friends and family go to those and ask if they know of anyone who has seen this or that Dr. and what are their thoughts on them. I've even see ads in the paper about Drs. here and our hospital here. People do put thank you's on bad experiences in the paper at times.

This is just my thought on this but nothing is black and white.
