I am leaving for Washington DC in the morning for the annual National MS Society Public Policy Conference. I'm all packed (yes I packed the "famous Red Pendleton Blazer!). I've got seminars and meetings scheduled for all day Tuesday and Wednesday. Monday and Thursday are travel days.
I can say that the weather won't be a factor this year like it was last year! We went in May last year and it was in the 90s and humidity was about the same. This year, I think the only issue may be some rain on Wednesday! I've packed my umbrella!
Thank goodness the nerve block injections seem to be working and the pain level in my right arm/shoulder is now at a tolerable level and I am only dealing with frozen shoulder at the moment! That I can handle! I had one last nerve block injection in the C3/4 cervical spine on Friday and so far, so good! I was tested for an allergic reaction to omnipeg 300 contrast and no reaction, so I was scheduled immediately for the procedure!
We have a pretty full agenda to discuss with our legislators this year. I believe we all have a big job to do this year with so many new faces in the Senate and the House. Could be a very interesting year this year!
