The impact of President Obama's decision to allow federal funds for Stem cell research is huge and this will be remembered as a historic event in the modern medicine. I know it will generate more philosophical and ethical debates, and I hope Science remains above it all. This may not mean that a cure for PD is in the near future, at least the path is clear and all we can do is hope for the best!
