we only live up North in the summers. I live in a cold place, but not that cold,
in winters, farther south!

The lake is always cool, about 60 degrees F, and I can dip my feet in there if need be. LOL
I won't wear socks in summer either. I use very thin ones for work, then.
In winter I can even tolerate them on my feet at night, but only if it is really cold.
Biofreeze is good for the burning, for anyone else reading here. I find it very cooling when I need it.
