I begged him for more nerve blocks for the pain and he declined. He gave me some Percocet for a month. He is referring me to Stanton Hicks at The Cleveland Clinic (I think writing a letter to get me in quickly) for further treatment. I feel like I have a severe sunburn all over my body, my feet are ON FIRE, I have cold lightening shocks throughout, jabbing, tremors, etc.....I could go on and on.

Anyway, another strange symptom has popped up that I wanted to ask you all about. I have noticed that I am getting VERY motion sick in the car......for that matter, if I move my head too quickly I start feeling dizzy and sick. Does anyone else experience this??? I am getting so weary of all of these new things coming up every few days. I can't seem to adjust to one thing before something else adds to the mix. Any suggestions???
Hi Mom in Pain, Sorry you are not feeling well and hope things look up for you soon. I had a terrible problem with a racing heart as well. Even at rest it was well above 100 beats per minute. When I stopped my meds back in January I noticed within a 2 week period that my heart rate went down to normal and it has stayed there since. I believe the culprit was Flexeril. As far as the motion sickness I thought I was the only one with this symptom. It started about 4 months ago. I noticed that when I bent over to take something out of the oven, I felt like I was going to fall in. Then I started getting car sick frequently. Sometimes when I'm just sitting, I have a sensation that my head is falling forward. Some days are better than others. I also am having weekly headaches which is not like me. I don't know what's at the bottom of it but I hope it resolves. I'd rather deal with the pain than the motion sickness. I find ginger snaps help me alot in the car. They also make lolloipops for pregnant women that help with the stomach upset. I've also been doing massages myself to try to keep the headaches at bay. Soaking in a warm tub with a cloth wrapped around my neck seems to help as well as Ben gay patches applied to the neck muscles. As you can see I'm trying everything I can think of. Also, being on the computer can really set off my motion sickness so on those days I stay away. Hope these suggestions can help you. Please feel better...Jeannie
