I agree on the doc thing. But when I talked to my PC, he told me it was safe to go off of it faster than the taper he calculated, as long as I didn't have any bad effects. Can you tell me how long it took you to get off of Lyrica and how many mg you were taking each day. I'm going cold turkey and am going on day 4. The first couple of days were like hell. Still, I have barely slept and cannot fall asleep for more than 15 to 30 minutes at a time. Hopefully, it will get better. I never want to go back on this medication again. I've tried stopping b/f cold turkey and usually go back b/c I can't sleep and also I feel depressed. Did you get depressed trying to stop the Lyrica?
