IF that's the case i'd ask for an immediate referral to a pulmonologist.
it's always best to get another opinion.
and, there might be something they can do to settle down your lungs.
have they considered some type of short term inhaler to cut the irritation?
i don't know why you have to wait so long for just an ordinary chest x-ray.
they can develop those films in 30" and have it read.
