Hi Blue, First of all, don't worry. It is Not pleasant but NOT Painful...I'm old now, almost 50
I still hate going, I avoid it at all costs..I even went 21 years without going
STUPID I know....But it's like going to the dentist, as far as the intimidating part goes...
Your GYN if she/he is good, will make you feel as comfy as possible. Personally, I still don't know anyone who Wants, or Likes going....just like any exam I guess.
Hope I didn't make things worse. If you are experiencing pain you MUST go & make sure your baby maker is in tip top shape!
My daughter is about your age, I'm guessing...She is one of those unlucky ones who always has problems & has to go. She doesn't even mind anymore.
