I too had never heard of anyone dying from the MS hug, and was surprised when Dr. Oz said it was the number one cause of death in MS patients!
They spoke that the diaphram, just like any other muscle, just stops responding the way its supposed to, and the patient cannot breathe for themselves. Scary! I love that they addressed the depression issue, and also the heat. Just being able to lay down for a few minutes in a cool place can do wonders for me. I thought it was very informative.
