yes, the OCD that is frequently comorbid with TS is often different from classic OCD in that it frequently "blends" with TS symptoms so that it is hard to know when it is a tic or an OCD manifesting!

My son had very similar merging of his tics and OCD as you describe

He has been on a specialised nutritional program for 6 years now (just turned 17) and these have really helped him with both the tics and the OCD.
