Default Great First Rib Moving Self-Therapy

I saw a new D.O. recently who taught me this really neat little trick...

-Lay down on your back, flat.

-Place your hand, palm side up, on your forehead.

-Push a few ounces of pressure against your forehead.

This "lifts" the first rib. And it may not be a permanent fix, but "ah..." it can really feel good.

I was told to do this a few times a day, and it would actually help loosen up my stuck first ribs. I don't know if it's working (I don't think it is), but I can tell you this -- I've been really sick this week, and none of my lymphatic system is draining, and it hurt really bad, so I started using that technique, just to temporarily relieve my head of the pressure and pain... And I think it may have helpd my lymph drain a little bit.

Has anyone else ever learned this one? I can't believe it's taken me 10 years to learn this one.
