Default But Larry there are so many great things to do!

Dear Larry,

There are so many wonderful things to fill your day with, you've just got to start the hunt, that's all.

I think the best hobbies are those that serve others, so for example if you're interested in helping people with Medicare problems, there is a nationwide volunteer service called SHIP. It's in every state, and it helps people who need Medicare help the most. I've been volunteering for 1 1/2 years, and I've never loved the hardest job I don't make a dime at more in my entire life.

There is always music. I've taught piano for 20 years part-time, and some of my best students have been those 60 and older. Maybe it's your time?

Are you tired of bland and boring food, then how about learning how to really cook, like the big guys do? Start with the Food channel, and then go and search out best cooks that make the types of food you enjoy the most. I've been amazed at how my own cooking skills have really increased, and the best part is you get to share it with those you love and care for.

Maybe it's time to join bird brains, or at least those little feathered friends. I've gotten so involved, I now go through over 3 pounds of food a day, and I love it. There is so much to learn, and it's a calming and joyful hobby to boot!

Now this is a starting point. If you're wanting more, then drop me a line. Bob.

I also can't get into any hobby or entertainment outside of work.
