Default Mirena

Ok, Depo Provera shot = Trigeminal Neuralgia. Combo birth control bill = migraines, including migraine with aura.

So, there's 2 major BC options out for me. So I asked my gyno about an IUD. Of course, specifically Mirena, and he had very good things to say about this device. In fact, I know many of my coworkers have one.

Here's the downside... it's not covered by my insurance plan, what so ever. It'll cost me $420+.

I think personally this is worth it for the fact that it is 5 years, I don't have many other options, and it's effectiveness/low maintenance required.

Any out there with a Mirena that can back me up that paying a lot of money for this is the right way to go?
