Yes they do have a big heart. He understands, he knows you didn't mean it. .
I have a 15 year old cocker spaniel who is blind and deaf. She went totally blind in November and I thought I'd have to put her down because she didn't leave the kitchen. The vet said she'll figure it out. And she did, she gets all over the house by herself. She's even learned to walk with her head down so she doesn't bang her nose into the wall. But I found out in January that she has cancer. I don't know how much longer I'm going to have her and don't know what I'll do when it's time. She's still eating and even though she's blind as a bat she finds her squeaky soccer ball and walks around the house with it in her jaws. That's why I call her "ball jaws". .
