I agree with Brian.

From what I have read about hemochromatosis, it damages the
pancreas. When you get it under control, the damage to the pancreas does not reverse. In other words you are stuck with it.

I think you should follow guidelines for insulin resistance or pre-diabetes.

Proper dietary control and use of some supplements may help.

benfotiamine
r-lipoic acid
chromium supplements


These have shown improvements for diabetics.

Diabetics lose inositol and magnesium in the urine.
So these two are helpful too.
