I have bought both a tempurpedic (foam) mattress and a sleep number bed. The foam mattress was ok..but we only kept it 2 years as it does tend after a while to not bounce back like it is suppose to. I now have a sleep number bed, and I have had it for almost 3 years. I LOVE it. Depending on how my rsd is acting, I can make it softer or harder to sleep on. It has mad a big difference in the amount of sleep I get at night. My DH and I do not agree on the hardness/softness of a bed, and this is the one bed that makes up both happy. I will never give up my sleep number bed. They also have the best sheets for the beds. they have corner straps and special corners to make the sheet stay on thru all the tossing and turning you could think of. I have a king, and the sheets run about 180, but I get them when they go on sale for about 80. They last long and feel really nice to sleep on. Hope this helps.

Hugs
Mary
