i got a new laptop friday... yeaaaahhh.

it comes with Vista, but with an additional recovery disk for an XP pro downgrade/recovery. i am going to do the XP thing (safer) but my mom and i want to take a look at Vista before i wipe it off... so won't get to that till maybe tuesday.

old laptop (what i'm currently using) is completely off its hinges... and i was using it lots and in very bad postures.

managed to screw up my neck & back - esp. cervical area which gave me neuralgia (shooting pain, tingling) all down one arm, back & side, plus trigeminal pain and secondary migraine. things are better now but i can't stay at it much either... limiting computer use to sort of hit and run.

anyway in a week tops i'll have new laptop ready and usable in non-contortionist positions. and it's a NICE new laptop too - and got a great deal on it. well, that is my big news.
