When i was really weak I would do this - put my toes down first. I decided it was to change which muscles I was using but I probably just made this up. The muscle that is at the front of my ankle below my shin area has deteriorated and I can't walk on my heels at all (not that that is a skill needed in life). My feet just flop down on the floor like I'm a duck if I try to keep my toes raised.

I'm curious if anyone has bunions? Not the blistery-thing, but the joint pain in the big toe. I do and I think it might have to do with the way I walk now that some muscles get weak. When I went to my GP about the pain she said there was nothing they could do and I should stop wearing high heeled shoes (at which point I laughed at her - my feet have never been in high-heels - not even at my wedding or prom!). Anyways, I deal with the pain, take the occaisional tylenyol/parcetemol and try to forget about them. Not life-altering or anything, just annoying. So... what do others think?
