There has been a new formulation in clinical trials for more than two years now. It is awaiting FDA approval and was thought to be ready to come to market by January 1st. We are now hearing probably the end of the first quarter of 2007. It has a neutral PH so no sting. Can be left out of the fridge for up to 6 months. Has less than 25% site reaction and only 15% reporting flu-like symptoms. Not only that, it is showing a NAb rate of less than 2%...lower than any interferon currently in use.

If you check out www.fda.gov and search for Serono new Rebif formulation, you should get these answers.
