Yes, my son reacts this way too. I used to have to break his in half. And always give with food.

Once you get going and are feeling much better, sometimes you can reduce the dose you are using, or at least reduce to every other day. Some people can, and others not. Depends on your own chemistry and why you got low in the first place. Some people are always low, and others fix the problem and then a lower dose prevents another dip with the resulting neuro symptoms returning.
