I actually talked to him on the telephone. Long story short, he called our home phone but was looking for a big time record mixing guy.

He was in NY and I was in sunny California. I had no idea I was talking to a then-prosperous music mogul. I was bragging about the weather. Little did I realize he could be in CA more easily that I could be ANYWHERE!!!
