We do try to remove email addresses if we notice them for the reason mentioned.

Often members don't realize that the "web bots" & "search bots" can pick up on email addresses when they are posted.

A PM or forum email {if enabled} will work just as well and with better privacy.

Just click the user name in a members post for PM or email options.
