My gramps has an electric scooter which he was going to give me one but for me it was not the right thing. Anyhow he really gets around so fast in it and goes through entire airports and takes it on trips. He said you can attach it to the back of your car with a small attatchment but I also have seen him take it apart to put in his car. I am not sure the expense on this though but was thinking is there a way you can appeal the insurance for something like this?This may be stupid thought but would craigslist have items like this? I thought I saw one at Costco though it may be not a good model. Good luck in finding what meets your needs.
