Hi RSDlynnie,
I agree with you on there being some good people out there.
I too live in a county that the people are phenominal. There is so much help here for the elderly and disabled. Of course our county is made up of retired and disabled.
The police are good here too. We finally got some more added on to the force and they are trying to take care of our kids and keep them safe from drugs and harm. I live in a small close knit town. The best place I have ever lived.
I think too when they can see your disablity is when they do step forward. Some of the RSD'ers look normal so they don't get the help with lifting and carrying things.
I look normal accept for surgical scars on the left and right side of my neck so I do get the help too. People offer to do everything they can for me when I am out.
Sometimes it's hard to see the good people for the lousy Drs. we see and the treatment we get from them. Like some said, when they chalk it up to being in your head or from depression then it makes us doubt ourselves.
My self esteem has been brought up by the great Dr. I have, my family's support and friends.
Yep, there are good people out there.
Love ya Carrie, glad you're safe and I see those pictures of the tornado damage and it sends cold chills down me.
