Hi Peachy!

Just found your thread and wanted to let you know that I feel your pain!!!! Yes, I've been diagnosed with both MS and Fibro. Sometimes it's difficult to tell which pain goes with which thing, but there are some days that are true h@#$!!!!! Today was one of them for me since I seem to be very weather sensitive and it's supposed to rain later today. Can usually feel it coming about 12 hours ahead.

My MS dx came first in 1990 and then fibro followed in 1995. I've had that literal pain in the butt for 14 years. After trying just about every pain pill imagineable, I find two Aleve (naproxin) work the best for me in the morning to take the edge off the pain and help with the stiffness. For the nerve pain associated with the MS, carbamazepine (Tegretol) seems most effective.

Probably nice warm showers or soaks in the tub would feel great, but it's not possible for me now that my legs no longer work much and my time is spent in a powerchair.

I won't lie and tell you it isn't a tough road to travel, but we don't have any other option so usually I try to make the best of things and do what I can. Take care and all the best to you.
