My first MD clinic appointment was at LEAST 3 hours long.
I had 11 vials of blood drawn. Also, a CT scan and a single fiber EMG. I don't know if that's typical or not.
The neuro took my complete medical history and my primary had sent a copy of my file for the neuro to look at prior to my appointment.
My diagnosis was confirmed at that appointment and plan was put into place for my treatment.
