Pharmaceutical companies join forces on HIV

GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer create spin-off to develop new combination drugs.

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Pfizer plan to merge their HIV drug divisions in an unusual move designed to shore up their poor market positions. This kind of collaboration is what was discussed here a few weeks ago...........I would like to think that Big Pharma guys are reading neurotalk.....Probably not!!!

Its interesting to see how big pharma works! In any case, it is a good thing to see companies pooling their money and effort to focus on developing drugs.
