FG, I've been away for 5 days and have only just seen this thread, and I'm so very sorry to read that your operation has been deferred. I know how it feels when you get all psyched up for a procedure, only to have it cancelled.

I'm afraid I can't advise at all, because health insurance in the USA is so much different to our's in Australia, but what you wrote certainly does not sound fair.

Don't you just love it when health insurance companies profess to know much more about what operations or medications a person needs, than their own doctor does?

I hope the company changes their verdict so you're not made to suffer for too much longer.
