This is just a thought..but.. did you consider that she WAS picking up an inflammation where your gallbladder was? When you get CUT (i.e. surgery)..it leaves the nerve endings unable to communicate with the brain and other systems. SCAR therapy or reflexology may help.
So.. she may not have been off that much..
