In my exprience there is pain that decreases as healing takes place. Because of stress and the way it depletes B12, there may be an increase in pain at the same time that overall there is healing going on, but healing does not involve a pain all its own.

If you are having more pain, then I would say it would be good to use more methylcobalamin lozenges and keep notes to see if that effects a change for the better.

Remember, B12 replacement is a slow process, so, beginning to use methylcobalamin lozenges does not mean immediate and complete relief. However, using more makes it faster than using less.
