The longer I live with this ailment, the more I get to know it. I think it is a bruised muscle. If I sit or lay a certain way to long, or especially if I have to lean down to the floor, that's when it hurts the absolute worst. After walking for about ten minutes, I can finally walk without looking like I have a 'hitch in my get-a-long'. I have drawn a pattern around it with a pen so I can see what it looks like. It is a large oval like area on my upper thigh. It never leaves that area. So I don't think I hit a nerve. I finally gave up today and called my neuro's office. Unfortunately for me though, the nurses weren't available to take my call and by the time they could call me back the doc had left for the day. So she will get the message on Monday. I even said that I could call my PCP if she thought it wasn't neuro or Avonex involved. I'm just tired of the pain and because of my own stupidity, I now have to wait through the weekend.
