I would imagine that stress can affect some people. Jim went through a horrible time back in 2003. Kidney failure, medical malpractice, major surgery, wheelchair full time, overall major life transition. He came out of all that mess emotionally better than he was before. So the stress for him wasn't an issue physically. Yes, it sucked the life out of both of us but it didn't exacerbate his ms. In fact, his ms has been in "remission" in regards to active lesions since then. Weird, but true.

I think emotional stress can wreak havoc on anyone, sick or not. If it's an emotional stressor one has to eliminate that before feeling better. That's been my experience.
