And to add to you're mom's quote, my mom always said to get the best quality you can afford when it comes to classic styles (clothes, furniture, etc.). This holds true for bras and I did just that up until I stopped working.

Mom quotes reminded me of something. For one full year, because of a med port in her side, my mom couldn't wear a bra. She was about 78 and very self-conscious about it.
She said, "I'm so tired of flipping and flopping around!" Made me laugh until I cried. Mom was a Playtex girl, nothing else would do.
