I had a partial and could eat with it. Granted I had to put double duty denture adhesive on it to keep it in but I ate just fine. Maybe they meant that she may have to take it out to rinse or something after eating? I don't know, just never heard of this myself. I hope she just heard them wrong. Hope it all works out.
