Yes. The papers all have diabetic in them. That is because that is the most common form of neuropathy. But Lipoic acid shows improvements in many other neuro conditions. It is worth a try.

It is one ingredient that Dr. Ames believes protects mitochondrial damage. It is in the product he makes and promotes called Juvenon. (for age related mito damage)
