Hello,

When you have leg, knee or foot pain it will cause you to favor that area when you walk or stand. By doing that you mess up the alignment of you spine causing pain in the low back. I have full body RSD and like Carrie said you can tell when it's RSD pain.

I also have a bad ankle that is not RSD related. I have a piece of chipped bone that has pulled the ligaments away from the ankle joint (confirmed by an MRI). I am having the ankle scoped June 1st. I say that to say it causes a great deal of pain and I walk differently to compensate for the pain. This throws my low back out which causes more pain. My Chiropractor helps keep my spine aligned thus reduceing the pain.

So the back pain may or may not be RSD. It could be reacting to the way you walk or stand due to your RSD. I commend you for working with your pain. I would love to still work I miss the people and challenges that came with the job.
Take care,
Sherrie
