Howdy!

Well I think that you should at least be able to continue to try for the SSI even if you cant qualify for the SSDI. You will probably have to go through all the waiting and denials.

You will still qualify for your SSDI, but it will have to wait until you turn the retirement age. So keep trying for the SSI
