Pins and needles is how mine started. I had such a pain in the left side of my face, exactly half of my face, neck, collarbone, shoulder, arm. P&N to the point where it was like spiders crawling over me with hot feet. I thought it was dental, luckily my dentist refused my plea to extract a tooth. Chiro couldn't help; i thought it could have been a slipped disc. Then believed it to be trigeminal neuralgia seeing as it was exactly half my head affected. Now residual of p&n when it was in my thumb and fingers is the feeling that they've been hit with a hammer and are just buzzing with pain now.
Dexterity still affected; to the point that I've dropped and smashed practically all our crockery and every cup and glass without a handle.
It's an awful feeling. You're not alone.
