I agree with everyone else that you shouldn't feel like you did something wrong, and you shouldn't feel cross with yourself.
This disease is so unpredictable that you never know which way it's going to turn around and bite you in the butt.
Hoping that after a nice rest, your symptoms will improve and you'll be able to go ride your horses.
