I just watched the launch on Fox News. Very very cool! I remember watching the first launch in '81 when I was 12yrs old. It's still just as cool to watch as it was then. (altho, I always get a lot tense when they get to the point where the shuttle is told to go "throttle up", because of Challenger)

I almost overslept past the time of the launch. I woke up at T-minus two minutes. I've been dizzy all morning, and have been trying to sleep off the vertigo. I'd had my tv on for the past few hours because I wanted the background noise.

I had wanted to be an astronaut when I was younger. It's still fun to watch shuttle launches. I'm hoping I'll get down to FL sometime before they mothball the shuttles. I would love to see a launch in real life and not just on tv.
